The User Interface layer has undergone a transformative update. Reimagined using cutting-edge web technologies, it delivers a sleek, intuitive interface with full support for both Light and Dark modes for a seamless, modern experience. You can experience the Text editors, improved Layout editors, and overall stunningly fast performance when executing GeneXus Next Desktop. Certain objects like Transactions and SDTs contain Text editors that allow you to type and/or copy definitions from Samples or other objects.
At the core of this redesign is Mercury, GeneXus' open-source design system. Mercury provides a cohesive, scalable, and visually compelling design framework, built to meet the diverse needs of both developers and end users.
GeneXus Next Desktop includes Nexa, which assists you in creating GeneXus objects, updating them, and performing configurations and codifications. For example, Nexa can help you model the database (i.e. create Transaction objects) and define queries (i.e. create Query objects). More importantly, it contains a complete and extensible engine capable of handling the growing demand for assistants and linking them correctly.
