Overview

This upgrade delivers significant stability and security enhancements, along with key feature updates across .NET, Java, Native Mobile, and Angular generators. The improvements are intended to increase performance, developer productivity, and compatibility with modern development standards.

GAM

• The GAM log now uses the Log external object (GeneXus.Common.Log) instead of the msg method (SAC #61356)

.NET

• Health monitoring added (SAC #61070)
• Enable Memory Cache property added (SAC #61340)
• Amazon SDK update on .NET (SAC #61334)
• Extensibility Mechanism in .NET Application Configuration (SAC #61239)
• CSS Grouping Rules support added to the DesignSystem. See Design System Style Rules or SAC #61421

Java

• HttpClient Connect Timeout Support
• Security - Vulnerabilities identified in libraries
  • Update of commons-compress and commons-lang3 (SAC #61271)
  • Update of the jackson-core library (SAC #61200)

• Migrate to pnpm instead of npm: better build performance.

Native Mobile

• iOS: New methods AddRange, RemoveRange, and Set in collections (SAC #61293)
• Applying image class properties on buttons is supported on iOS and Android (SAC #61308)
• WebView User Control supported on iOS and Android (SAC #61387)
• Android - SVG image support expanded (SAC #61397)

Web and User Controls

• Progress Indicator implemented without relying on Bootstrap 3
• Date Picker Behavior in Date Filters in Pattern Work With for Web (SAC #61154)
• Dialog User Control available to display content in a dialog (UI container) for user interaction.
• Dropdown User Control available to display a button that opens a list of options. Each option triggers an action.

Super Apps

• GetHighlighted method replaces the deprecated GetFeatured method in the Provisioning External Object (SAC #61503).

Compatibility

Java - Web.jar generation modified in Java projects with Spring Boot (SAC #61188)
