Warning: The GeneXus Cognitive API has been discontinued, development and maintenance of the
GeneXusAI module have been ceased.
This decision stems from the fact that the underlying GeneXusAI module acts as a wrapper for external provider APIs. Due to ongoing changes and updates by these providers, some of the module's features have ceased to function correctly.
Since the implementation of the GeneXusAI module, many other Artificial Intelligence tools have rapidly emerged and evolved, now offering greater functionalities and capabilities. This, along with the nature of the module, led to the decision to cease its development and maintenance.
As of GeneXus 18 Upgrade 14, the GeneXusAI module is no longer distributed. You can choose to use the GeneXusAI module at your own risk.
As alternative solutions, you can use GeneXus’ native capabilities to interact with services (for example, by using the HttpClient data type) to communicate with external APIs. Another option is to use the different capabilities provided by Globant Enterprise AI to implement the functionalities that were previously obtained using the GeneXus Cognitive API.

GeneXus provides capabilities to integrate cognitive services into your system. You do not have to be an expert on such a discipline or know how it works. You only need to set a few parameters, provide your data as input, and use the result.
Among the main tasks offered by GeneXus are image classification, facial recognition, audio transcription, text analysis, etc. You can also combine these individual tasks to build sophisticated systems with a great look.
